The 2004 ArdenCup - Prelude
Prelude to the
ArdenCup - Chicagoland Scrabble® Tournament
May 29-31, 2004
Because I thought it would be nice to have several casual, social hours, all
registered contestants are cordially invited to be guests on
Friday, May 28, 2004, from 5pm to 10pm at Maggiano's
Little Italy (The Barolo Room), 175 Old Orchard Center (now named
Westfield), Skokie IL. Food (buffet - very nice, very tasty) will be served from
6pm to 9 pm. Do Scrabble® and Anagrams if you will. Cash Bar. Also on hand will
be Caricaturist Marc Bermann for a few hours, offering complimentary sittings.
Please let me know that your are coming or (I hope that is not the case) not. If
you know of others who may not be on-line at cgp or ospd, let them know too just
in case my various notes may miss someone.
This event is only for registered contestants, staff and certain invited guests.
Other "Scrabble persons" who may wish to join us, may do so at the
cost of $25.00@.
